I know you can buy flatbreads from pretty much any shop but there are times when it's more fun to make your own... Everyone likes freshly made bread, don't they? Plus you can make as many, or as few, as you like saving on waste.

- 200 g Plain Flour or White Bread Flour
- 175 g Natural Yogurt
- 0.5 tsp Baking Powder
- 0.5 tsp Salt
Put all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir well with a spoon.
As the mixture starts to come together use your (clean) hands to bring in the bits around the edge, then turn it all out onto a clean work surface dusted with flour.
Knead for a couple of minutes to make a smooth dough. Put it into a clean bowl, cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes or so.
When you're ready to cook the flatbreads heat a griddle pan over a high heat. Divide the dough into 6 equal parts and flatten it into rough discs around 3mm in thickness - you can use a rolling pin to help out.
Cook each flatbread for a couple of minutes on each side, until they start to char and puff up. Turn them carefully.
As each flatbread is cooked remove it to a plate covered with a clean tea towel - the steam coming off will help keep them warm and pliable. When they're all cooked serve immediately.
